Shells are sterilized, painted, and sorted by size. Your photo is enhanced and edited for the best presentation. A laser printer is used to print your photo, and a special photo-transfer medium is precisely applied to the shell and your photo. After the photo is delicately placed into the shell, it will dry for 1 to 2 days before the paper is removed. Your photo is now embedded into the shell. This is NOT decoupage. Your photo is then decorated and enhanced to your liking and embellished with sparkling Cape May sand. Your carefully packaged shell will arrive in 1 to 2 weeks.

After receiving your photo by email a confirmation will be sent out. It takes 24-48 hours for your photo to transfer to the shell and another day to seal and decorate. Shells will then be mailed out. Shipping is free.

How is photo transfer different from decoupage?
Photo transferring is a technique using a laser printer and special transfer gel to your photo. After the shell is prepared (sanitized, sanded and painted) your photo is edited to fit in the shell. The photo is gently placed into the shell and after 24 hours the paper is removed. The shell now holds your photo (not decoupage which is gluing a photo on the shell)
